ABOUT US
Dr. Adam Smitherman
Dr. Smitherman is a summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree (2001) in Biological Engineering. He is a graduate of The University of Mississippi School of Medicine (2005), with a Doctor of Medicine, summa cum laude. Dr. Smitherman completed an Orthopaedic Internship (2006) and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency (2010) from the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, South Carolina. He completed a Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship at the University of Florida Department of Orthopaedics in 2011.
Dr. Smitherman grew up in Madison. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, running and listening to music.
